Pushkar is a Hindu pilgrimage site in the state of Rajasthan. The nearest airport is Jaipur and the nearest railway station is Ajmer. Pushkar is well connected by various travel modes to major cities in Rajasthan and other major cities.

There are various places to visit in this religious site. One can visit Brahma Temple, Warah Temple, Mahadeo Temple, Old Rangji Temple, Vaikunthnath. This city has more than 400 temples. Pushkar is the only city which has Brahma Temple. As per Hindu Mythology, it is said that Lord Brahma, killed the demon with a lotus flower and the petals landed in three places in Pushkar. The place where the petal landed, a lake sprang up and this scenic lake is considered holy and sacred for this reason. There are various shops which offer fusion music and books. The main shopping spots are Baza Bazar, Sarafa Bazar and Kedalganj Bazar. Various fairs as Cattle Fair and camel race are held here during the Pushkar fair. Jaipur is the nearest airport to Pushkar, which in turn has daily flights to and from Delhi and Mumbai. It is also well connected with Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Ahmedabad, Aurangabad and Calcutta. The airport is not more than 20 km from the city centre.
